It would be really helpful if the catalogue supported print Edition Management. This capability would allow the user to define for each catalogue image one or more ‘print editions’ and to record for each edition key information such as the dimensions of the print size, the number of prints in the edition, the number which have actually been printed and their disposition. So for example, an image could be defined as having one edition of 20cm x 30cm prints, an edition of 5, of which 2 have been printed, one sold and one held. This is a capability missing from all image management solutions and which would be of enormous benefit to anyone who manages and sells editions of their work.
