Custom camera settings applied to RAW

My camera is a Fujifilm X-T3, when I apply "film simulations" the adjustments are visible in both the jpeg and RAW. I understand that you can revert the film simulation from the "Base Characteristics" tab and simply apply the Standard Provia filter. This works fine as a easy way to revert the film simulation. My issue is that my custom settings and custom film recipes don't change even if I change the base characteristics to Provia. They change slightly but whatever white balance and grain settings I had when I took the photo are still visible. Is it possible to have the raw files imported without my custom settings? Either some sort of default capture one profile or default camera profile?

  With any image selected from the camera in question, you can go to the Base Characteristics tool, and select the Curve you want. Perhaps Provia, or if you want a Capture One standard curve, Film Standard.

  

  Then click the ... on the Base Characteristics tool and choose to save this as the default for this camera.

  

  This will affect future imports, but it won't automatically change images you have already imported.

  I tried that and it works well for the preloaded film simulations already existing in the camera. The issue is my photos that have custom setting applied to them through custom set profiles are unchanged. Settings such as white balance and grain as well as others are still present on the raw photo even after changing the base characteristics
