Live view and camera control in capture one mobile

Which device are you using?
I am arcitectural photograph and use capture one on the Mac Book Pro for interior live shooting, the live view is a very important feature for me.

What problem do you see this solving?
I tested C1 mobile on the iPad, but without the live view it cannot be used for precise image composition while taking photos.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals?
I use the Mac Book Pro

    Hello Jürg Zimmermann, thanks for the feedback. We will be working on it really soon, so hopefully it will be available sometime in the next few months. What do you use now that we don't have this feature on iPad? What are you using instead and how often would you need to use it?

    I work as an architectural photographer with Alpa Camenras and a Phase One IQ4 150 Back. My workflow is that I work on location tethered to the labtop, using the live view, I make the precise settings and lens shifts. Architectural photography like I do is a relatively slow process comparable to mobile studio work. I often spend 15 minutes on a setting, checking details, moving furniture, etc... I like to make initial settings and corrections on site because I have the 1 to 1 reference and can check the dynamic range, color temperature, HDR tools. I work with an adjustable camera, the LCC tools, lens information and lens shifts are important tools for me; I can enter the lens shifts directly into Capture 1. Reliability and a fast connection via WiFi and cable are important to me.
    The advantage of the iPad for me would be better mobility and lower weight. currently I miss the functions described above. I still prefer to use the laptop because I have all the options and can continue working on the session later.

    Thanks for sharing. Live view will come soon but not LCC tools for the time being. Are these mandatory for your workflow?

    Hi Evi, The LCC tools would be an improvement to the workflow, as you can enter the lens shifts on adjustable cameras directly while taking photos, so you don't have to note this information down separately.
    but more important is the Live view.

    LCC tools are essential when using a technical camera with wide angle lenses for architecture photography. The addition of such tools would be a huge advantage.

    Hi Evi. I think Jürg covered it quite well. Tethering, live view, grid lines and LCC (for technical cameras) are all important tools for an architecture photographer. The other thing might be panorama stitching which I use when using shift on a technical camera to capture a bigger scene with two or more images. Thanks.
