Exportation issue
eportation issue
Hi there, I get a problem in exportating files fromc Cpture One 22 pro to a chosen folder whit my ne Mac Mini 2.
Explanation: I export, as usual, a file to a chosen folder, that I call X Folder.
When I open the X folder it seems to be empty.
When I chek the weight of this X folder, the information menu of my Mac reports, for example 5 gigabites weight, but I cannot see any file in that. When I search a particular file by name in The searchbox of the computer, the information reports that this file is located IN the X folder, but I still cant see it.
So I threw away the X Folder in the baset. Before empty the trash, I check the X Folder and, magically, the exported files appear in the folder. Then I drag the X Folder on my desktop and everything works, the exported files are there. Maybe it's a Sonoma issue?
I have installed Sonoma yesterday, I didnt have any problem with the old operating system.

However, it wouldn't hurt if C1 sent an email every time a new operating system is released to remind/warn their customers not to use it, as part of their customer service. They could even bundle this with a marketing message to upgrade the license, or to subscribe...
(which wouldn't have helped in this case, see https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/13942471961757)

Looks like the link (https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002466277-Capture-One-system-requirements-and-OS-support#h_01GGW7FV46EC3BJ5DE0PFY855W) shows that Sonoma (MacOS 14.0) is supported by Capture One version 16.2.5, but not previous versions.
If you are using 16.2.5, then this has been approved by Capture One and you should send a bug report to the support folks. If you are using a previous version, install the latest Capture One update and see if this corrects the problem.
One thing that will make Capture One fail to export is not correctly telling it an existing export location. Then, it will just sit and wait, making no progress or giving an error message. An error message would be welcome.

Interesting as I am having the same or a very similar problem and asked about it in the community
"Bug ? Sonoma on Mac and Capture One will not export to the desktop",
Only seems to be happening on my Mac Mini M1 and not on my laptop - both are running Sonoma

Is it so uncommon in the Mac world to check the system requirements of a software prior to an operating system upgrade?
For C1, you can check it out in this article
