If you then process the files in an external application how would C1 need to reflect that work in the catalog.

Are you asking me? Or CaptureOne?  Are asking as part of your CaptureOne role? Are saying you support the idea of X2D Catalog Support? Or is this a spoiler?

I imagine all the code is still there from when IViewMedia built it. Microsoft screwed around with it a bit.. and then you guys did, and you "built it in”.

    GJT_West,

I don't have any affiliation with C1 other than as a user of the software.

I suspect you are imagining too much about what is available in the code. But in any case there may be other factors we don't have public information about that could limit possibilities.

I still cannot work out what benefit you are seeking from having the files in a catalog or visible in a session if you cannot do anything useful with them in editing terms and have to edit them in other applications and then manage the new files back into the catalog.

    Where's the gain?
