Phase One IQ3
Not currently plannedAm I really the only one shocked that Capture One Pro (mobile tether - live view) supports 100000 Canon and Sony but only 3 Phase one cameras (all 150mp)??
I mean, it's bad enough there hasn't been a firmware update to a 50k camera system in 4 years, but no lasting support for future app benefits --- seems wildly out of touch.

Hello hollywoodstills and thank you for your comment.
First things first, Phase One and Capture One are different legal entitites, and have been for a few years.
That also means that we as Capture One has no influence or control over firmware release or other products offered by Phase One.
Now, for your request:
The Phase One IQ's does not use the same tethering protocol as i.e. Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm etc. Instead, they use a proprietary protocol, which works well on our desktop product Capture One Pro. However, due to the way USB works on iOS (meaning both iPhone and iPad), it won't work on these mobile platforms in its current form.
Christian Gruner I am tagging you just in case :)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I will move your post to our Improve Capture One mobile page, so the corresponding team can address your request.

Thanks Helen and Evi K -- is there any update to the IQ3 support for Capture One Pro? Bit of a shame not to support this when wifi tethering is possible on the IQ3 100MP. I think the "the companies split" when clearly you depend on each other is a bit of a eBay/Paypal integration (but separate companies for any issues of course) situation.
I now see the "not currently planned" tag -- but that means I have a Pro subscription -- for nothing really that helps me with mobile -- which is -- kinda the whole point.2
