What problem do you see this solving?
You have 100 photos, you tag them with keywords : because this is trees, you tag with "trees"
You make the editing, some of them are crap, you trash them
Instead of "trees" you want to tag them with "tree". You tag the no-crap photos with "tree"
You would like to delete the tag "trees" but you can't (and of course C1 doesn't say WHY you can't, it just says "you can't", even the support doesn't know why you can't but I KNOW : this is because photos are in trash)
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
Obviously, opening a bug to C1 support doesn't help : they say "not beeing able to delete a tag when tagged photos are in trash is a features, not having a message of why you can't is also a feature, so open an improvment"
- delete the tagged photos in trash then delete the tag, or
- put the tagged photo in a dumb collection then delete the tag then put the photos in trash
Burning down the computer to ashes doesn't help, cursing C1 devs neither.
Hoping that losing time filling an improvment request for a such obvious FEATURE will help
