From the Finder window, select the Search option and type in the date (ie 11/25/2023) that you tethered your camera. You can then find all the files stored on that date, hopefully all your images will be there and you can import them back into C1.

I think I saw this before as a Windows user when doing early tests of tethering process, never during actual session though. There is no recovery, images are just replaced - the only resolution I can imagine is to interrupt as soon as the problem is observed and reboot everything, then continue with a new session.

Hopefully you have a different problem, like using Cloud on the target folders for storing tethered files.

(Please, don't be anonymous, FirstName LastName!)

If you need "immediate" technical assistance, then posting on the forum is not the best option.

I've made a support request based on your post, where you can provide more information about the error and provide the support team with what they need to try and provide an answer to this strange behavior.

    OP,

Is there any possibility the tether session was put into Composition Mode at some point?

Are your remaining image names consecutive or do you have a big gap in any numbering sequence you may have used?
