Have you checked connection settings in camera? Use tethering auto.

Hey Łukasz Gałecki, Yes, that is the required setting with Fuji cameras and is what prompted this discussion and a support request. So, this post is a bit old and my issue here was the response from C1 tech support which was "Can you please change usb power supply/comm settings (at network/usb setting) to power supply off/comm on? Please let me know if that works for you." Which are not settings or terminology found in any of the Fuji cameras.

At this point, this discussion has been moved and can be found here https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/16338421457693-iPhone-iPad-Fuji-cameras-cannot-establish-connection

Capture One has acknowledged the presence of this issue and you can see my suggestions in the third post in the discussion link referenced above.

I'm only encountering this issue with my Fuji cameras (X-T1, X-T2, X-T3, X-T5, X-H1). My Nikon cameras are not experiencing this issue. So, for me it is isolated to the Fujis.

I see. It seemed strange because I have been useing GFX 50s and 100s without any issues so far.

After 2 months, I've finally received an answer on this issue from C1 support as follows: "We have seen that these cameras can connect only if the connection is direct from USB C to USB C with iPhone or iPad". So, in all other cases it appears an auxiliary power supply is required.

In my case I was testing with a Fuji X-H1, X-T1, X-T2, X-T3 and X-T5, the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter and an iPad mini (4th Gen & 5th Gen).

Fuji started using USB-C with the X-T3 and subsequently on the X-T4 and X-T5; USB-C is also used on the GFX50R, GFX50SII, GFX100, GFX100S and GFX100II

Apple started using USB-C with the iPad mini 6th Generation, whereas the 4th & 5th Gens use Apple Lightning.

NOTE: The Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter and an iPad mini (4th Gen & 5th Gen) work fine with my Nikons without an auxiliary power source.

Next step will be to test the X-T3 and X-T5 with an iPad mini 6th Generation to confirm; this setup will NOT require an Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. Will keep you posted.

Hi, I will add that GFX 100s connection to iPhone 12 via usb 3 adapter is somewhat unstable. Sometimes I can shoot hundred photos without any issues other time it disconnects just after pressing shutter button. Turning camera off disconnecting it and restarting app fix it.
