Subscription headaches.
OK I hope this isn't as confusing as a C1 subscription model. I an not the sharpest knife in the drawer, say that up front. My subscription was for C1 20 for Sony. I haven't used it pretty much for a couple years.
The account says "subscription renewal $138". I generally use PS and LR on My PC, and My travel new MacBook, but have been reading some of the C1 info coming out and may start to use it more. It looks like if you get the $361 subscription you get to use it on ONE desktop, My old C1 20-for Sony indicated multiple activations available. I read on here that it will allow you to keep the same number of activations with a new subscription?
Problem: My PC and MacBook I use for traveling I assume I can just swap the licenses if I need to. My wife is traveling to Antarctica (yes leaving Me at home so she gets peace and quiet). She will be using our 5 year old MacBook and her new Lumix FZ2500 camera(she didn't want to carry a heavy camera and change lenses), no Sony RAW files. She will need to DL to look at her photos and maybe edit a couple. She doesn't use her camera much and doesn't like editing so usually My job (She has 3,000 frames form Africa in 2017 she still hasn't even looked at). So I guess this issue is what/how do I change this so she can edit her Lumix files while on the road and how many activations will I have if I change My existing subscription? The cameras I use are still Sony's, not likely to change.
I guess the model is confusing a subscription to Me indicates that all updates are available, including new versions, as long as you pay that fee. I read it as its good for that particular one that is "purchased"? As I said not real bright here.
Advice on how to make this work? To be honest I have been using LR mostly as I learned on it and found C1 somewhat confusing to use. Someone please help the stupid.
