Prints darker than monitor

Using the recent version of Capture One Pro on a 2019 iMac running Sonoma. I have a profiled monitor and I am using for printing the correct profile provided by Canon for their glossy paper. The prints are consistently coming out much darker than what I see on the monitor. I do not have this problem with the DXO Photolab. What can be causing this? Thankyou! Bob

  This is common when the display brightness is set too high. Calibrate your display for printing. I set mine to 85 candela brightness. I print to an Epson SureColor P800.
