Intersecting masks
What problem do you see this solving?
Intersecting masks allow to make a combination of selections which can be very usefull especially when you want a partial change in the backgound of a selesced object or person. E.g. making a background behind a person gradually darker, or making a circular lighter spot behind a portrait or behind an object, and so on. In combination with AI masking the beauty of it would be that masks can be modified in the process.
This feature is already available in Lightroom and Photoshop [via Camera Raw filter].
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
In Portrait photography where i wanted to change the density circularly and gradually behind a person and many times in landscape and architectural photography.
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
Photoshop workaround [which is time consuming and creates extra Photoshop files].
Are you happy to be contacted further about this suggestion or request?
Yes

Support this. I use Affinity Photo for this type of masking, but it doesn't have AI masks yet. And its another step with more files created. Anything architectural I need to make selections and have gradients over that selection. Can sometimes work around in C1 using AI eraser but something direct would be better.
