If you log on to your account at the Capture One website, you should be able to get your license key from the Plans and Services Management button, as shown here.

When I write the key it tells me that it is not valid.

    1. Is there more than one key there? If I log on to my account and choose that button, it lists all my licences going back to previous versions. Are you picking the most recent one?
    2. What is the max eligible version shown for your licence key? See this screen shot - it shows it as 16.3 in this case. If yours shows different, may be you are trying to install a later version than your licence covers?

Well if it's showing as in trial mode, I think you may need to go to Licence in the Capture One Menu (if you're on Mac - I'm sorry I don't know which menu it's in on Windows) and deactivate it. Then close Capture One and reopen it and enter the licence key.
