Yes, I just tried the live view feature but it seems impossible to use for vertical shots. I hope they could add a button to rotate the live view mode on Capture One for iPad.

I noticed this too, super annoying. The only workaround I found was to lock the iPad screen and then rotate the iPad. Not convenient at all.

Same here. My neck got twisted from watching the iPad in diagonal position today lol It was the closest I could get to watch the Live view window in vertical orientation. No doubt they will fix this soon.

Another thing I noticed is when you are shooting via Live View mode the camera controls and shot button disappear for a while after taking the shot. You have to interact with the screen somehow for the camera icon and shot button to reappear. Hope they fix this too.

    Another sufferer here.

I've been a C1 iPad user for nearly a year and half now, and I'd waited soooo long for the Live View feature to be implemented (I gave them the benefit of the doubt beyond reason).

It's pretty much unusable as it is... I photograph artchitecture/interiors and take more verticals than I do horizontals, and I have my iPad locked onto a mount. I have to first unlock screen orientation, then rotate the iPad 270 degrees to landscape mode (otherwise your cable ends up in an awkward position or the image is upside down), then lock the orientation, then mount it back so the client/stylist can see the frame and get to work. Then I have to reverse the process so I can work on my crops/basic adjustments.
