Online Shared Session expiration date extension
Hi everyone,
I've read earlier discussions about the complexities involved in allowing unlimited duration for shared sessions, particularly concerning the impact on C1's infrastructure and the potential need to adjust pricing models. I understand these concerns. However, it's also true that some clients require more time, and certain projects extend beyond a month to complete. The necessity to re-upload sessions and redistribute new links is not only inconvenient but presumably also impactful on C1's server resources.
Is it feasible to introduce a system where users are permitted a maximum of 3 to 5 shared sessions with an active time extension? These sessions could require monthly confirmation for their extension, thus preventing them from remaining indefinitely active due to oversight or neglect.
While I acknowledge that this suggestion isn’t based on hard data, my own experience and that of my colleagues suggests that it wouldn’t increase the total number of active sessions at any given time.
Thanks for your consideration.
Best regards, Tim

Even if we could bump the expiration incrementally that would be helpful. I've got a commercial client who is asking me to extend the expiration date and here I am, looking at redistributing links to everyone who was at the shoot a month ago. It would be easier to add more time for sure.
