I recommend opening a support case. This is a user forum.

Walter Rowe I think it's fair enough that a post was made regarding this, as it's user feedback, and fair feedback at that.

However, I would encourage hollywoodstills to provide their feedback here (https://captureone.ideas.aha.io/) so that the Product Management team can see it, and hopefully give some sort of background or explanation as to why support for Phase One backs has not been possible in Capture One mobile.

With your Capture Pilot issues however, I would certainly reach out to support. You shouldn't be facing any issues there and should still be able to use it as described at the time of purchase.

hollywoodstills Regarding the AdHoc, this is just one of the many things that don't work anymore as a side effect of Apple hardening their software platforms. Unfortunately, we can't do many things about it since it is Apples choice to basically stop this.

I’m currently experiencing connectivity issues between my IQ3 and iPad, which previously functioned seamlessly. I believe a firmware update might address this problem.

Beyond the option of removing the CF card and importing images into Capture One via a card reader, are there any alternative methods to utilize the IQ3 on location with an iPad? I feel somewhat unsupported by Phase One in resolving this matter. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks Peter!  Firmware for?  IQ3?  iPad?

Theodore Chorianopoulos Chorianopoulos It's quite odd -- and I want to, but I don't quite believe it -- as I opened Capture Pilot, didn't work.  Then proceeded to download Capture 1 mobile -- didn't work (because IQ3 is not -- for some ridiculous reason still not supported) and then went back to Capture Pilot and it actually worked.  Then two hours later, it didn't.  Either way both the camera and the software are really expensive and to have both -- individually and collectively not work, is wildly unimpressive.

Same here. IQ350 Captur Pilot Connection doesn’t work!!! This is not acceptable!

    no updates for XF, nothing.

The protocol is non-standard and Apple doesn't allow custom protocols over their ports. That's my understanding.

David Oreiro - XF is Phase.  I agree wild not to update firmware for this many years.  I think the last update was circa 2019.  Sad.  Basically when it came out.

WalterRowe - I was working with Theodore Chorianopoulos but doesn't look like I've gotten a response just yet.  The odd thing is it worked recently.  But then Nada.

I'm hopeful they can sort it out or contact Apple developers to make sure it's engineered properly.  SOON!
