When applying function "move image layer adjustments to new layer" the image gets brighter. Why? Not my expectation.

    I did some tests and found out that especially when increasing exposure and brightness there are differences in the magnitude of the effects. On layer level the effects are much stronger than in the image layer.

    the effect mainly appears when Base Characteristics, Curve parameter is set to Limear Response.

    In case this parameter is set to an other value minor changes can be observed in the Curves Levels, RGB, Luma.

    Those changes do not have an obvious effects which you can see in the image itself.
