Layering two or more image

Layers focus on adjustments and see nothing of the other application for layers. Is it possible to open two distinct image files as layers, or even copy/paste one image (or part of) into a layer attached to another image? Classis is taking a person or object from one image file and layer onto another image file. Another application I use in real estate/architectural photography is getting rid of flash/umbrella reflections by taking multiple shots of the room on tripod, moving lighting around where the best lit has a distracting reflection in the sliding glass door where another has a clear door but a reflection elsewhere. Best lit as top layer, then adjustment layer "paint with black" to hide allowing the clear door of the lower layer to show. Very easy to do in LR with open as layer in Photoshop with LR adjustment, then save back into LR.

  Capture One does not layer multiple images. Pixel editors like Affinity Photo or Photoshop do that. Capture One is not a pixel editor.
