    According to the list here

    https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002718118-Camera-Models-and-RAW-Files-Supported-by-Capture-One#h_a9ca081c-e40a-407d-9efd-efc079a5d263

the X100VI has been supported by Capture One from version 16.3.6. However, you'll see that the list also shows that this model is not supported for tethering.

Have you tried importing from the memory card in a card reader? That should work.

Hi, yes, importing through memory card reader works, but thats not what I want to do going forward every time I want to transfer images to my iMac. I would just like to be able to connect a USAB cable and transfer, like with every other camera I own (i.e. Sony A7 IV). Never thought that would be a big deal...

Generally, Capture One couldn't load pictures by cable in the past - it always treated cable connection as an attempt to tether. It can do it now (I think) for some newer camera models. But for the X100V1 not even tethering is supported. I don't know whether that is because of a technical limitation with the camera. The Sony A7 IV is more of a high-end camera, maybe? (I'm not too familiar with the Sony and Fuji ranges - I use Nikons.)

The macOS Image Capture utility should be able to read the files from the camera and deposit them where you tell it. Give it a try and see if that works. It works in my Nikon cameras.

I have the same problem. As a long-time Capture One user (now CO Pro build 16.5.2.2623), I tried to import RAF files from my new Fujifilm X100VI to PC the way I always do with my Sony cameras and have not succeeded. CO reports, that "The camera is not supported." The only way I could do it was to create a new directory, copy all the files there, and import them from there to the selected session in CO. Which is pretty annoying...

I don't know why the Fujifilm X100VI is not supported for tethering etc (see the list here https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002718118-Camera-Models-and-RAW-Files-Supported-by-Capture-One and the discussion above). Maybe there's some technical reason why they can't do that, or maybe they could do it if there's enough demand for it. You could put in a request for that extra level of support here https://captureone.ideas.aha.io/
