Bussines model
Regrettably, Capture One bussines model is trying to drive us to the subscription model with your continuing price increases, now another one for the perpetual model. Some of us switched to Capture One and leaving behind Adobe due to this model and your affordable prices. A lot of customers are not professionals who cannot justify to pay a subscription model for ever. If you cannot offer a formula for different models customers, we will have to look for other alternatives. I´m afraid you will feel it in the future.

Hmm, I agree. Also there are some other signs, such as announced community forums closure, that make me think that C1 management is going the way of pleasing its stakeholders in expense of customers and soon it will become a “small Adobe”. Seems it’s time to leave C1 and find some other tools for my photo processing(

Sergei Ashmarin - hopefully you will use for your photo processing whatever tool makes it easiest to get the results you like. Whether you manage that best with Capture One software or some other offering, only you can decide.
