Basic forum features

Forums have most of the time features like date a member joined, number of posts, location, read posts from a user, view profile.

Some features may exist but I have not found them, some might be missing.

Do we have forum rules already, general announcements (update announcements for example).

Just a few thoughts.

  Also it's quite useful, IMO, to be able to see the date and time of a post not just an typically vague "3 hours ago". (although of course that means that dealing with Time Zone relates displays is no longer required.)

  Plus some indication of posts one has not read and by whom the posts were made rather than a generic indication that a post has been updated.

  I am also noticing that while my avatar is present at the top right of the page and on the edit box while I type it does not show next to my posts or comments. Neither does anyone else's

  That clickable icon on the lower right of a topic indicating the number of comments is completely useless. It would better send us to the first unread post instead of the first comment which starts two lines below. It's like taking a shortcut to save 2 steps.
