When will this forum the replace the old one?

It seems I am too late. The old forum is gone and this one is not yet ready:
I cannot find newly added comments on posts. Without that this is basically not a useful forum at all. I this something that can be fixed? If not please abandon this experiment.

"I cannot find newly added comments on posts."
How do you mean? For each section individually or for all of them?
There's the section here (here):

LOL (not at you though) which does show the topics with recent comments. But the first link goes to the forum - that is not helpful I want to read the newest comment on a particular topic. The second link goes to the topic - also not helpful now I have to scroll to find the last comment I haven't read - from memory since it is not marked.
All other forums that I frequent have a way to tell at the top level if sub forums have new content. In the listing of the content in the sub forum you can tell what topics are new and for those that are not new you can tell which ones have new comments added and jump directly to the first unread thing in the sub forum.
This new system has none of that and the link you sent me too which I did not find myself - so thanks - is actually not that helpful either but clearly all we have.
I do not believe this current state of the forum is appropriate for a community that is active like this one was. I do hope that C1 can bring it up to par...

I completely agree. In its current state the forum system is rudimentary at best.

Hi,
I think that the right question is : what is the intent behind this change ? Nobody can reasonably think that this thing in its current state will be able to replace the previous forum - which was already lacking some important features - before a long time. This, added to the downgraded customer support system for "C1 only" users, cannot be considered as an attempt to make things easier. So I'm wondering what they are actually doing. Or maybe it's another part of the service that is subcontracted to some obscure offshore company ? I'm curious.

I would not find this forum quite as problematic, if the previous version was not much easier to use. The black font was easier to read than the gray font. The threads were easier to select. Inserting images was more difficult. Formatting was more difficult. Being able to get information on the user posing a comment was nice. All in all, I would prefer the old site. I expect by using Zendesk, Phase One is giving us a take it or leave the forum offer, so I think resistance is futile.
