    Hi Quentin,

This is a user to user forum, no one here can answer your question. It is advisable to submit a request via the link top-right on this page. The more people raise the same request the better the chances are that it will be considered and prioritized. If you post here in the user forum, maybe you will find users having the same request who then feel motivated by this post to submit the same request via the mentioned link too.

Note there is also a "Feature Request" topic in the forum to discuss requests with other users, though we do not know if that is meant for C1 requests or forum software requests, and nobody knows if C1 people sometimes or reguarly look into this.

What is sure is that no C1 employee will discuss something here or post anything in the forum unless for moderation purposes or big announcements.

    regards

P.S. Support team seems to have a high workload currently so don't be surprised if you do not receive a timely reply. And they will usually never say a word about a future release or plan.

I just switched to C1. I'm struggling to adapt to the catalogue glitches and quirks and general clunkiness. I miss LR sorely for this. I like C1 and am trying to stay on board. BUT!!! I shoot almost exclusively with my x100F and x100V. I often use the wcl and the tcl converters. I just realized  that C1 doesn't support the converters. This will almost certainly be a deal breaker for me. I can't mess around with some JPG files and some RAW files depending on my lens choice. A Fuji tailored contract that doesn't meet a basic fuji requirement. I'll write to them now too. Hoping this gets resolved.

I figured out a workaround. It's easy. For either the wcl or the tcl it's the same.

Go to the lens correction tool, choose 'manufacturer profile', and set distortion to 100, and light falloff to 95. Pretty damned close to the JPG equivalent. unless you're shooting a grid, I have a feeling it'll be great. Even a grid...

Thanks for your work-around Gael. I just rented the WCL X100 II and shot over 300 photos with my X100F at Longwood Gardens PA yesterday. I was super bummed to see the distortion on my RAF files in C1 20 and your suggestion helped greatly.

Hi, that workaround sure helps, but I find it really annoying that C1 does not support the X100F/V wide angle adapter. It is even more annoying against the background that historically C1 has supported Fuji cameras so well - and especially not that Adobe products have this feature. (In fact, until now I have used Lr for X100V pictures with wide angle adapter.)

I hope C1 will respond to this problem as Fuji X100 cameras are quite popular and widely used.

    Tuomo,

You may wish to ask Fuji about the same thing since, as I understand things,  they have influence over what is and is not included.

Good idea. Full X100 adapter support is also in the interest of Fuji.

But in the end of the day, this is at the hands of Capture one. For me this is Fuji WCL-100 support is something that has been holding me back on upgrading my C1 20, and on the other hand, staying with Lightroom. While using Lr with Fuji I have noticed their Fuji conversion has become better - which was the original reason why I started to use C1.

Small things.... A matter of customer service... I like C1 20, but there are moments when one is ready to think about jumping back to the other train.

As I wrote previously, Fuji seems to have some influence over what is offered for Fuji support in Capture One. Perhaps both what IS included and what is not included according to their interests.

Does anyone know if this issue with Fuji X100V wide angle adapter support is covered in C1 22?

I have the C1 22, and the distortion issue still exists (both with the TCL, and the WCL). I use both conversion lenses quite often, and I am considering swiching from C1 to another editing programme.

Using X100F with WCL-100 and THANK YOU for the tip about "choose 'manufacturer profile', and set distortion to 100, and light falloff to 95."

Gives excellent results, I really appreciate you posting this!

Yes, manual correction works fine. I rarely bother to compensate vignetting, just distortion.

However, automatic correction is still on my wish list :-)
