    I have the copy cropping worked out now..

    Ok maybe not it works and then quits working to apply crop as part of the settings.

    Here is one from today's family session I am working on. It was an overcast day.

    Import

    (catalog, not session):

    This is what you probably want:

    Destination: Current location.

    Exclude duplicates (very slow) is not needed if your workflow is straight.

    Card > copy to folder manually > Import to C1 as above.

    How timely. I made a new video this week - Exploring The Import Dialog. Perhaps this will help you.

    My question to you DigitalEd - do you have "Backup To" enabled in the import dialog? Is Backup To folder the same as the Destination in the "Import To" panel above it? This would certainly import two copies into the same folder, and on macOS that would certainly cause the second one to have a " 1" (space + "1") at the end of the name before the suffix (extension).
