Moving away from the core functions of a raw editor, I would say.

But Layers in Capture One are not pixel layers like in Photoshop etc, and Capture One is not intended to be a Photoshop substitute.

Ian: Image watermark in output section is a pixel layer. You can adjust opacity, location, resize it. So it's possible in principle.

Ian, whilst i agree with you, in part, I have never been a person who loves tradition in software. Encroaching on PS territory by adding a feature that is probably the most often reason to pop off into PS would not be a bad thing. I know the  other PS reason is cleaning up an image but this has been largely addressed in the next release (coming soon) - great stuff.

Regarding RAW editor:  You will note that C1 has layers which in themselves is not a core function of a RAW editor (even Adobe RAW does not offer that). This speaks for itself, encroach, step away from tradition add those extras.

    Hi there,

Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you've taken to contribute towards the development of the software.

I have forwarded your comments and suggestions to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.

Whilst we cannot comment on future releases, we take all suggestions on board and hopefully your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.
