Downloaded the Express version but I need the Pro version Fuji 30 days trial
Hi. I downloaded the Express version but now that I bought a Fuji camera I read there is a 30 days trial of the Pro version. I need the Pro version because it has all the features I normally use in Lightroom (specially for watermarks, IPTC, import and export workflow). I cant find a way to download the Pro trial and not have the computer going nuts since the Express one is still on by account. How I can get rid of the Express one and have the Pro 30 days trial?
Thanks

I believe you need to deactivate the current Express license before it will allow you to enter the license for the Pro Trial. Look under Capture One 20->License... There you will be able to deactivate the current license then when you start C1 again, you should see the prompt for the license, at which point you can enter the Pro Trial license. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response but I am not able to de activate the Express version. Clicked on Reset All Activations and neither. It does not show an option to deactivate anymore. I tried many times to download the Pro version but the computer is only keeping the Express one. Created a new account under different email and neither worked out.

If Capture One really wants a prospective customer to buy the Pro version it should a least have a customer service line we can reach out to resolve these issues and not rely only on forums. It has been time consuming and frustrating.

Agree and can certainly understand your frustration. Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling? Maybe something's hung up somewhere and a fresh install will clear it? Just tossing ideas out...never hurts to try.

One other point: I don't believe there is a difference in the app installer between Pro and Express versions. When my pro trial expired I went with the Express for Nikon and both downloads were the same. It appears to me that the license key is used to determine what version/functionality the user actually sees. I didn't even need to reinstall the app. I simply deactivated the pro trial license key then entered the one for Express when C1 restarted. Not sure why you should have to re-download the app. What happens when you try to launch C1? Does it prompt you for a new key?

bobW is correct. The downloaded file is the same for all versions. It's the licence key that determines what functionality you get.

Plenty of us have bought the Pro version and manage just fine with the current support arrangements.

Problem solved. Gave it few days, signed in again, tried to open and finally mentioned the Express version was deactivated. Downloaded the Pro with new license key.
