Problems with activating trial version.

    Pop-up blocker enabled will prevent access to download at web site.

    Downloading the .dmg file with FireWall or Anti-virus software can corrupt the file. Turn these off and Download once again.

    If file is Ok, conflicts with Capture One launch and Tiger have occurred on systems with YouSoft.com software installed, i.e. \"You control fonts\" and \"You control Tunes\" once these are disabled, the problem goes away.

    I checked Safari and it appears that I dont have the block pop up windows on.

    I dont have any extra anti virus software that did not come with tiger. I don't know how to disable the firewall..Can you tell me how?..
    I'm going to try it once more.....If I am having this problem with the trial version would I have the same if I buy the disk and install??

    I just tried again to install no luck...This is the first time I have had this type of issue with my computer.. 😡

    It is not clear how far along in this process you are getting. If you cannot even download the compressed file to your computer, it is a problem with your Browser. You should be able to download the 69.3 MB .dmg file from our web site. Safari should work, or use Internet Explorer if you have it. Try another computer and then transfer to the one you want to install it to.
    See if any of these various reasons explain the problem.

    Once the file is successully downloaded, it must be uncompressed. Once uncompressed, the Installer will ask for a Password - which is your User Password, and then it will install the program.

    Hi Keith,

    I am able to download the program and install it into my hard drive. that works fine.
    When I go to open the application is where the problem lies.
    That's where the ball spins and when I go to force quit the program is listed and it says not responding. I force quit and try again to no avail.
    I did what you said downloading in Safari making sure the pop up windows were unblocked so I don't think the problem is in the download.....It seems so strange as I have never had a problem with any other program in this computer.....

    I already did file a support case but was informed that I should resinstall my entire operating system. That is something I am not prepared to do without support.
    Currently I am using photoshop for raw and Dr. Brown's image processor script which works but I like some of the features in the phase one software. NO EASY ANSWERS!

    Only failures to launch conflicts with Tiger we've seen are with the software I mentioned above from YouSoft.com, with remnant Phase One folders, i.e. Batch Queue, and from corrupt Color Sync files.

    3 Suggestions:

    To do a repair of permissions in Disk Utility.

    Complete uninstall following Knowledge Base #1907

    Giving up! 

    I tried all the available advices to activate a trial version but to no avail. Will delete it and get a different product.
