Keywords getting randomly lost
Hey there!
I have a catalogue with about 20k images that I didn´t keyword before. As I want to be able to search my catalogue more efficiently I started making a keyword database and imported it in C1. Most of the keywords were fine but the farther I got in keywording the more missing keywords I added. So for example I had a keyword church but i wanted to give it a child called gothic so I could find gothic churches more easily. Well all of that went pretty well but I started noticing super weird behaviour after a while: Sometimes I misspelled and accidentally pressed enter after having just written Chu. So understandingly C1 made a new keyword called Chu. I naturally removed that keyword by right clicking it and clicking "remove selected keywords". My problem is now that when I try to remove one of those misspelled keywords capture one sometimes takes really long to remove a single keyword from a single image and a dialogue plops up saying "removing keywords from variants" I didn´t mind the first few times when it did that but then I started noticing that sometimes it kicked out random keyword families. I noticed that today for example. Yesterday I was tagging images and it took really long to remove a misspelled keyword again so i was already worried that something might have been lost. I did a quick check but didn´t find anything on the first glance. Well.. After starting it up today I noticed that all my insect keywords were gone! But not only that! Also all the children of the insect keyword like butterflies, flies, etc. Some other keywords also just randomly got lost. I have gotten so paranoid in the past few days that I did backups of the keyword catalogue every day. That isn´t really a solution though because even if i can bring back the keywords that got deleted, the keywords are still missing for each of the images that had tagged with them so i have to scroll through all my images again to retag them. Has anybody of you had that problem before and maybe knows a fix? I also tried removing all keywords from an image, selecting the one erroneous keyword and pressing delete. Still sometimes got the long dialogue and knew that i would have lost a bunch of keywords again. I really hope I can find a solution for that because I absolutely cannot use keywords the way they are behaving now.
I have attached a screenshot of the exported keyword libraries of two days so you can see my problem better. The right one is from the 20th of December, the left one from the 18th Still the left one has a lot more keywords that I did not delete in those two days. They just vanished.. Like the Keyword "Gewässer" with all of its child and the keyword "Kirche" with all of its children.
