DAM software recommendations?
I choose C1P over Lightroom, but need to get a good cataloging software going (something better than my memory), and it sounds as though Media Expression is a bit shaky, in terms of Microsofts commitment to it.
Any thoughts? It doesn't need to be vast, just enough to cover me and my pictures, maybe some video.

I use aperture as my librarian and C1 as my Raw converter, works really really well. 0 -

Here's one that I recently discovered and it looks pretty good in basic testing.

Can you catalog stored images with Aperture?

In case my last question was confusing, I meant can you catalog stored images on external drives and DVD's with Aperture? That is one of the prime functions of DAM software in my opinion and if Aperture does that, I will take another look at it. 0 -
Canto Cumlus is my recommendation. It has quite a stiff learning curve but when you know how it works it is one the best DAM systems out there.

They also don't publish pricing. Which is generally a sign of make-a-deal pricing. Not always the most efficient use of energy. [quote="Christian167" wrote:
