don't hit that DEL key
Worked with the CO10 trial for a while, learning my way around, making progress. At some point I see a little orange circle on the photo, conclude that apparently I did an unnecessary 'spot removal' at that point. Now, how to get rid of it? I try the LR way - put the cursor on it, click it, hit Delete. And poof, my photo is gone. Deleted.
After looking around the Session folders I realize it's actually in the Trash Folder. But how do I get it back? I'm using a 'dummy' session and opening images from the System Folders. I want this photo back in its original place, in my file system. Can I just drag/drop it there?

Drag and drop FROM WITHIN C1 should do it.
If you do that the edit instructions will travel with it.

And the way to remove an unwanted spot correction is to use the Spot Remover tool on the Details tab. Highlight the spot correction you want to remove and click the - button (in the tool, not the - button on the keyboard, which adds a red colour tag). Or you can cycle through the list of spots (1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc) to select the one you want.

It's meant to be Alt-Shift-Del.
However there have in the past been heated discussions amongst users with a significant number indicating that they wanted a single key that offered a total delete option.
You may feel it's worth creating a Support Case to ask Phase for clarification.
