    Further steps taken:

    - Re-Installed Capture One (clean install)
    - Re-Installed Drivers (clean install)

Now when I go to Capture One and change the Hardware Acceleration Setting for Display to Never and back to Auto it's "Setting up hardware acceleration: 0%." and does not progress.

    This is getting very annoying.

    edit:

    -Reverted to previous driver

    didn't help.

    - Installed Capture One 11.1

    didn't help either.

Other applications such as photoshop, the netflix app, lightroom etc use the hardware acceleration without any issues.

Best option here is to create a tech support case (via the link in my profile) and send us your log files, which can be generated via the steps here:

I've already done that, I was just trying to find out whether anyone else has the same issue! 😊

update: according to Tech Support it's a bug, not unlike one that was fixed in 10.0.1 - however 10.0.1 also doesn't work.
Makes me think it's something to do with a recent windows 10 update...
