C1P does not remember where I stopped working?

Hi there,

just wanted to know if this issue is just on my computer.

This is whats happening:
- I am editing a big bunch of images (lets say number 001-200 of 300)
- I close my Session with the image 200 open
- I open the Session again an C1P shows me Image 075 instead of 200

Does C1P not remember the last images that was opened?

PS: all the edits are correctly saved... so this is not a big issue. Just a small inconvenience.

    Strange that it does not jump to image 001?
    For me it feels like it does remember an image, but not the very last one.
    Sometimes during editing I have selected 4 images to compare them... later I do edit one image and when I close and reopen C1P it shows the 4 selected Images. So it does remember some views / images but not the latest?

    It does remember on my system in a session where I was working, the images selected, the filter active.

    If you happen to use a session for a longer period, because you browse System Folders, make a new session and try again.

    Else, contact support.

    Same here, I can't figure out what's the pattern... Inconvenience but pretty irritating on the long run.

    Hmm... I do use a session for a longer period (2-3h) but I do not browse System Folders... all images are in the capture folder.
    However I feel that this mostly happens when I have a big session with a lot of images. When starting the Session C1P always needs some time until all images show up (orange circel has to fill up). Maybe the image I have bee working on is not "found" that quickly?

    How many images do you have in your Capture Folder? 100, 500, 1000, more?

    for that Session right now I have about 1300 images.
    All are stored on my local SSD. But often I do have my session on a NAS (for multiuser-access) and this slows down the "loading" as well.

    For sessions, try to divide your images over several folders. You can make each a session favourite for search and smart albums. Try to limit to 300-500 images. See what happens.

    I will try to create several albums and see if this helps. Also I will setup a small session with 300 images and will report back here.

    I work with catalogs and same thing happens but not always.
    As a rule of a thumb it never comes back to the last image, unless I edit it for the second time and leave c1 from there.
    To illustrate - I work on image x, quit c1, come back, browse to the same image, edit, quit and when open again, it goes where I left. That's my observation.
