Color Profile Could not be found event
I am on a 30-day trial of C1 Pro 8.3.3. I am having random problem that sometimes during startup I get this events logged "Color Profile Could not be found" and that the images that I had edited previously lost their ICC Profile setting and the color became very washed out. If I looked at the "Base Characteristics" tool tab the ICC Profile looked empty. But, if I click on the double arrow drop down list, the profiles are intact. But, I still lost my edits. I have installed ICC Color Profiles that were developed by Scottie Wang http://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3554294 (his ICC profiles look great on my Fuji RAW files). I am not sure if the non-factory profiles cause this.
Any idea why? Or is it a bug? I am having some other bugs too like the icon stuck at one mode. Sometimes it stucks in Loupe, and I cannot change it to hand tool or crop by pressing a keyboard shortcut or clicking the icon on the top. I have to restart the program to eliminate this problem.
I am on Windows 7 with 8Gb of RAM.
Thanks.

Most probably yes. However, you can solve this by renaming the ICC profile into a naming format that makes CO8 recognize it as their own profile.
Let us know if you need further guidance. If so, please mention the camera type you use for these profiles (a Fuji I assume).0 -
Yes I renamed the profile with C1 naming convention as is "FujiXE2-Provia.icc" and I put these ICC profiles in C:\Program Files\Phase One\Capture One 8\Color Profiles\DSLR folder.
But, I am getting intermitent missing color profile. I am now trying to load each Scottie Wang's profile via Base Characteristics Tab and then saving their corresponding ICC Profile via Color Editor and saving them in %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\CaptureOne\Color Profiles folder. I will try to reimport my catalog from Lightroom again so that I start "clean" and see if I could eliminate this problem.
And yes my camera is a Fuji. X-E2 to be exact.
