    I was afraid of that.
However, I don't want to pay for the upgrade until the defects with MP are fixed. And I want to test the interaction before I put money down.
I already trusted PO with MP when that 1st came out - a big mistake which I will not repeat.

Here is hoping that they release a new version before my 60 days are up.
    Any bets?

    Hi Jim

From your point of view C8 is not fit for purpose, and the problems are entirely within Phase One's bailiwick.

So, why not submit a support case to have the trial nullified. Worth a try - I have done this successfully with other photo software companies.

    Good luck!

    Peter.

I'd expect Phase One to be pretty open to that.

Based on data from CO5, 6 and 7, the first maintenance release (x.0.1) was released approximately a month after the first release. No guarantee but might give you hope.

    Thanks Paul.
I had a response from tech support that indicated they would have a release within my test window that should solve the MP issue for me.

    I just downloaded CO 8.01.
I still cannot send a single file (or multiples) from MP to CO 8 and have it open in a session (new or otherwise).

Great is it not Jim that in the new release you get this "Fixed keyword incompatibility with Adobe Lightroom 4" ,but they cannot fix the incompatability between their own software!
