EOS R and live-view makes camera inoperable

A client has a combination Capture One 12 on macOS Mojave and Catalina and Canon EOS R. Everything up to date. Tethering works but with live-view, the camera itself can no longer be operated and the LCD goes black (only from Capture One).

Please note that when tethering into EOS Utility, the camera remains fully operational during live-view.

Someone here who works with this combination and has (other) experiences? I'd love to hear it, even if you work on Windows.

  I am currently having a similar issue on macOS 10.15.7 Catalina + Capture One 20 Pro v13.1.3.9. When I trigger "Live View" when tethered it results in the screen on my Canon R5 to go blank and sometimes the camera is just completely blocked off and "Busy" but I'm still able to click on the Live View Trigger button.

  Did anyone every find a fix for this? Currently experiencing the same issues with EOS R, Catalina 10.15.7 + Capture One 13.1.3.9
