macOS 10.15.2/C1 12.1.5 *RE*connection issue
Hi all. Shot in the dark here.
Latest everything, shooting with a D800 into a MacBook Pro from late 2018 (Vega). MBP recognizes the camera via System Info...>USB interfaces.
1. When I launch Capture One with the D800 off and then turning the camera on, nothing connects. Cable unplug and plug doesn't do anything either. No connection but the MBP still recognizes the USB connection.
2. When I quit Capture One, turn the D800 on, and launch Capture One, everything connects fine.
2a. When I turn the camera off and back on with Capture One still launched, no connection. Basically back to #1 where nothing works.
3. If I quit Capture One, leaving the D800 on, and launching Capture One once again, all connects just fine.
I've completely uninstalled C1 per Phase One's instructions; I've been able to replicate the issue with a D750.
I am also running an older MacBook Air with C1 12.0 installed within macOS Catalina 10.15.1. Things appear to run just fine on there as expected. Same cables and cameras.
Anyone got anything? I have a location job tomorrow that I'll be fine for, it's just a pain in the tail having to quit/restart C1 if my camera gets turned off OR goes into a sleep mode that chokes C1 and requires the cable to be plugged back in.
PS: All security preferences within macOS have been checked from what I know.

We have a similar issues across 4 iMac 27 inch computers. Two of which are iMac pros.
This problem occurred when upgrading to Catalina. Basically when using Canon 1DS Mark 2 tethered to the iMacs the camera losses connection response when we switch it off to change lens. The application says the camera is still connected. Then when we turn the camera back on the only way to get the camera to connect is to restart capture.
This is no issue with this with the Capture 20 application. However I want to upgrade 5 licenses but it will only let you upgrade singles licenses. The deal available for 5 license is now subscription based. 🙄
