    For the counter starting number:

You can set and reset the counter and it's increments from the 'Capture' tool tab, 'Next Capture' tool'. Click on the 3 dots next to the question mark (on the right) and choose your action from the list.

The blank tokens problem has been fixed in a more recent release so it would seem that either you don't yet have the more recent release or something did not install correctly.

Given that you have several other problems I would think a new installation would make sense provided that your MAC environment is also up to date as far as is required to get all of the right bits into place.

Do you always create a new session or re-use an old one?

If you use an old one I would suggest creating a new one. If a new one then there is clearly something odd happening with historic temporary files - or so it sounds.

I'm not a Mac person but I know there are several posts with a reference link to instructions about how to effectively clean up and re-install on a Mac. There may even be an article in the Knowledge Base that is suitably up to date.

(And of course you may already know all about this process.)

Thanks for the reply's, I usually upgrade quite quickly to the latest versions. I always start with new sessions for each shoot.

    Thanks again.

OK, so if you have the latest release and the tokens are blank there would certainly seem to be something wrong. Likewise using a new session would seem to preclude a rare, but no impossible, file corruption of some sort being carried over (unless you have a template for a session that might have a problem embedded in it.)

    I would certainly try a re-install.

If that does not solve things create a Support Case and see what comes of that - I think Phase might want to know what is going wrong for their future reference.
