Problem Embedding Profile
Hey all,
I have an issue embedding a profile in the recipe output. I usually make my own profile outside of C! and then use it by selecting other under the colour tab as an ICC selection. This usually works fine.
In the output recipe I select Embed Profile and my profile shows up in PS but now It is embedding sRGB which I don't want.
Suggestions?

Okay,
I can embed my profile as long as I don't have an adjustment layer. When I do use an adjustment layer, C1 converts to embeds an sRGB profile and embeds that.
Time for a support case.

Support is working to recreate my problem. So Hurry up and Wait as the saying goes. 0 -
Support has recreated the issue and they are calling it a bug. I hope R and D can make version 9.3? work as I don't intend on upgrading from Yosemite any time soon.

It is also happening in version 10:
It only occurs when a mask is created out of the Colour Editor, at least in version 90 -
If my Camera Profile were embedded, then I could simply go back in PS history and assign the edited colour profile. Much quicker.
I have a clunky kinda of work around. I can ask the output recipe to [convert?] my custom input camera profile to Adobe RGB1998 with the adjustment layers [made with masks coming from the Colour Editor] turned on. I cannot directly edit my input Camera Profile on the Tiff, but I can use the Tiff to edit my Camera Profile in PS. I then need to turn C1 off and on again to let it see the new edited custom Camera Colour Profile.
The clunky part is that I must make a new Tiff after selecting the new edited Camera Profile in C1. An extra step.0 -
More odd behaviour in the Output Recipe Window:
My adjustment layers are selected. [In this case 3 adjustment layers] - masks generated from the colour editor and added to or subtracted manually with the brush and eraser.
I choose Embed Camera Profile and save it as a recipe, process and close C1. As per my issue the embedded profile has been [first converted] and then switched to sRGB - not my camera profile.
Next time I open C1 the selection [ Embed Camera Profile ] has changed to Adobe RGB 1998. It is no longer exactly the same recipe that I had saved and tried to use.
However:
If I unselect my adjustment layers:
Then my selection Embed Camera Profile is once again part of the Output Recipe, and my Camera Profile is embedded.0
