Changing focus mask threshold crashes every time

Maybe you could provide some more details about your machine and the OS version used - seems to be a specific problem as I cannot reproduce it under 10.12.6 with 15" rMBP (Mid 2014) or MP (Mid 2010) with AMD Radeon HD 7950.

Doesn't matter if I use the track pad or the mouse.
It crashes with either an Nikon RAW (NEF) from a D810, or a Fuji RAW from an X-E2.

If I move the slider slowly while it is working ("spinner" indicator on top) and it will crash.
You may have to move the threshold slider back and forth a few times while it is working before it crashes. It seams to me that if you do it step by step and rest after each move so that the "spinner" indicator stops before you make a new move, I don't think it will crash.

I've just tried this on my 2012 27 inch iMac and it doesn't cause any problems. Sounds like it might be machine specific.

Could be related to different graphics card drivers if the processing of focus mask is performed by the GPU or if you have a different OS version, or you are not doing it exactly as I do it.

Great! Finally someone who can reproduce it.
