Not working: Arrows next to tools that show expanded options

When I click the arrows next to a tool to see the expanded options, nothing happens. This is the case both in the top toolbar and in the work panels as well. Please help!

MacOS Mojave 10.14.1
Capture One Pro 12.1.3

  Click and HOLD.
  
  The arrows are not a separate button, they are only an indication that more options are avaialable. Click anywhere on the icon and hold for a second or two to see the extra options.
