Shoot (un)tethered with D750 using Wifi

I'm looking at making the switch from Canon to Nikon and getting the D750. Now, this would be the first camera with built-in WiFi and I wonder, could I use it to shoot "tethered" using WiFi, eliminating the need for a USB cable.
Obviously this would be slower, but would eliminate the cable (always a concern in the environments I shoot in).

Has anyone done this already? Is it possible at all?
