Wrong orientation on photos after export
My processed PSDs come out in landscape orientation rather than the correct portrait orientation (camera embedded).
The .CR2s from my Canon 5DmkIV show up in correct portrait orientation in C1's browser/viewer, but after export they appear rotated 90 degrees in landscape orientation in Finder/Photoshop.
I didn't have this problem yesterday, and I haven't changed any settings (at leat not knowingly so). I have looked in the processing panel for any settings that could be related to this, but haven't been able to find any so far.
So I wonder; what am I missing?
This is with C1 9.3
Help! - anyone? 😐
Advance thanks!

Just tried a quick reinstall but that didn't change anything. 0 -
I will answer my own question just in case it will help somebody else stuck with this problem:
In the "Process recipe" tool I unchecked the option under the "file" heading to "Create thumbnails on save", and that seems to have solved the issue.
I'm still getting thumbnails, but they are probably generated by the OS (mac OS 10.11) instead of C1 now.0 -
Turned out this didn't fix it either, just the thumbnails that now had the correct orientation, but still wrong orientation after opening in Photoshop...
The funny thing is, Affinity Photo 1.5 opens the files correctly, same with PhotoMechanic, so the issue must be with Photoshop CS6.
Strange stuff.0 -
This is a really weird issue, but I think i finally found a fix - in Photoshop CS6 Preferences>File Handling I found a box called "Ignore rotation metadata" and checked it, and now the 92 files opened correctly. 0
