C1 12 - Crop tool question
The moment I select the CROP TOOL, it automatically crops away the sides of my original image.
(working with Fuji RAF files)
I don't want this to happen - why does it do this? I have not rotated or moved or done anything to make changes.
Merely selecting the tool instantly applies this crop, even if the tool is set to unconstrained.

This constantly comes up. It's because of the automatic lens corrections. In the lens tab, in the Lens Correction tool, click the ... and tick Disable Default Lens Correction. That will only affect future imports, not existing images but you could turn off the correction for any image you wanted to. BUT... do you want to? Reclaiming the pixels that have been shifted by the lens correction may give you a more distorted image. I generally only use it when I absolutely must reclaim some parts of the image at the edges (perhaps because my wide angle isn't quite wide enough).
