Capture One Performance Slows During Wacom Pen Pushes

I'm a recent LR convert - 20 days into CO use. I've noticed a particular odd problem. If I use a Wacom tablet to do spot removals, after around 10-15 presses of the pen, performance significantly slows. By 20 or so presses, it's almost un-usable. If I use my mouse, the problem doesn't happen. I was on support with Wacom about it and they tried a few things - changed some pen settings, re-installed drivers, etc. They later suggested by email it's a Windows profile problem. But, that is unlikely. This problem happens on two different desktops (one at my studio and one at my home) and with two different models of Wacom tablets. I'll point out my files are stored on a NAS, in case somehow someone proves that's the problem (why then with just the pen but, not the mouse).

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggested fixes?

    I've noticed this also, to the extent that I no longer use my tablet to edit in CO.

    yeah just tried with my Intuos 3 and after about 4 spots my machine slowed.. changed images went back again and got another couple in before it crashed..

    brush works flawlessly however

    Hello Everyone,

    I have the exact problem and have tried everything mentioned above. Windows 7 Pro with a Nvidia 980 Ti graphics card.

    I mentioned it in a support case today along with other issues.

    My impression of the Capture One developers is that they don't really understand how to program without introducing memory leaks and access violations; amateurs.
