Add a filter for geotagged files
LoggedI would like to be able to filter images and videos that are geotagged.
Even better would be to do Geotagging within Capture One but that’s a bigger feature to implement.

There is already a "Yes/No" filter for "Geotagged?".
Is that what you are looking for?

Hi Hans,
Thank you for your post.
You can select the geotagged images with the help of the Filters tool in the Library tool tab or from the Search field (clickin on ... (three dots) in the field) directly in the Browser.
Set the Search Criterion to Geotagged - is true - and you will see the images that correspond to this search parameter in the Browser.

Yes. This works. Thanks!

unfortunately this does not work, geotagged seems to be false for photos with latitude, longitude and altitude. how is the information geotagged processed (and when), it does not seem to recalculate when reloading metadata?

I think it expects to find the data in the original file.

Thanks, checked again, that is where I wrote it to (to the JPG or ARW file). Only a delete from catalog (not from disk) and re-import helps (with loosing other adjustments), but this is not needed for all photos, for some the geotag existence is adjusted. Wonder what the conditions are of this adjustments, didn't find any command.

FOUND the solution by trying: re-import your pictures at current location ("exclude duplicates" option NOT checked), CO will process the information, update the tags but not discard your other editing information (neither colours nor cropping), CO will issue an event "skipping the file during import" but it updates geotag flag (when latitude, longitude is set).

Seems this feature is definitely flaky. I geotag pictures through XMP files and currently it works for me but in the past it didn’t.
