What sort of computer and screen are you using Capture One on? The Colour editor tool takes up a particularly large amount of vertical space, and on small screens there may not be enough room to open it.

I use a Macbook pro 15''. With Capture one previous version, it worked correctly with enough room to open it and scroll up and down. Maybe this version uses more space.

Thank you Ian for your answer.

I've been having almost the same problem.

The color editor opens normally but if I click on advanced or skin it closes and can't be open again until I restart the software.

I had the same issue with the last Beta and it wasn't corrected apparently. This problem is only on Capture One Pro 20, not 12.

    It's a major issue.

Indeed it's a major issue. I hope the next update fixing this bug will come soon.

No such bug with me, but the best would be to submit a request.

    The title here is misleading.

The colour editor IS working bit you are having problems with displaying it as a tool in a workspace.

The basic reason is that, for whatever reason, when you are attempting to expand in the Tool display area there is not enough vertical space for the controlling code to allow that expansion. It will not fit in the space you have available.

That could be a case of lack of screen height resolution - i.e. a larger screen with more pixels would have enough space using the current workspace.

Or it might be that there are other tools, opened or closed, in the workspace that restrict the space too much. This operational constraint was one of the reasons that the scrollable tools area was created. It is especially useful for the tools (or certain tabs of certain tools) that simply require a lot of space to display all they have to offer and perhaps are unable to do that in all "on demand" situations in a constrained space.

Put the Colour Editor into its own tab if you want it "fixed" or into the scrolling area of a tab to make it variable.

Or simply create a floating tool whenever you wish to use the editor in an expanded mode and you cannot move/remove any of the other tools in your favoured tool tab.

As the support told me it is a known bug but the editor works on the scrolling area for me. So it's cool.

I've had to float the tool to make it usable.

The tool has been unusable, in its normal state, for the entire C1-20 release.
