How are you getting them to Photoshop? If you use "Open with..." then Capture One will send the unadjusted raw file to PS. If you use "Edit with..." then Capture One will create a JPG or TIFF (or PSD) and send it to PS with all the adjustments you have made.

Also, there is a setting in PS preferences that will cause this same thing to happen. It caused me some grief about a month ago or so.

I cannot recall at the moment, but I'm sure if you dig around in the PS Preferences, you will find it.

BTW, I'm not saying you changed the preference setting, I certainly don't remember doing it. However, I t was the issue in my case.

    Hi,

In Photoshop Preferences, you should have in the tab "file management", a "Camera Raw Preferences" field, and opening it will able you to select (or not) Jpeg and TIFF management. Sorry, I have only a French version of Photoshop CS6, and I don't know the terminology used in the English version.
    Cheers,

I'll dig around the preferences and see if that will help. As a test I did process to jpg the same file out of Capture One 9 with the same basic setting and it opened properly in Photoshop.

    Thanks

This is due to the existence of an XMP file in the same location as the TIF or JPG you're exporting plus the setting in ACR-

In ACR's preferences (three horizontal lines at the top of the window), towards the bottom it now defaults to "[file format] with Settings". ACR sees XMP files as "settings" even if they don't contain anything. Set this to Disable [file format] support.

XMP files can be created for a number of reasons, including having Capture One Full Sync XMP sidecar files.

Thanks to the suggestion to dig into preferences, it was buried under raw file handling, in a JPEG and TIFF handling drop-down menu selection option reading "disable JPEG support". There is also one for disabling TIFF support.

That did the trick.I'm back to being a happy camper.
