I have the same problem, with difference that only 5% cut off from the original image in the viewer.
Filmstrip shows the full image size.

    Using in Win7, 64-bit.

Has anyone tried to switch off OpenCL in the Preferences?

Wow...Same issue with me..about 25% below and 25% to the right is unviewable...cannot pan to it either...When the grid is activation, the center is accurate but consequently to the right and down...a showstopper for sure. Cropping will not capture the unviewable area either...Tried deactivating OpenCL but no joy...Any form of veiwer...docked, dual etc...

    Windows 7, 64bit

Did you perhaps had a customized workspace from CO5? Should work but this is trial-and-error.

The only change I had executed for CO5 was dual monitor and CO5 still works properly...

I opened a problem log. PhaseOne response requested I switch to defaults. No Joy. Screen print transmitted to PhaseOne with my reply. Anyone else get any movement?

Did you try to reset the crop?

You Phase One guys need to buy a windows computer for the office. This is a major bug. I can't believe that the software was released with this problem.

I mean it is the first thing you see when you load a photo.... wow... I can't see the whole thing. 🙄

Installed newest drivers - No Joy
Reset crop to unconstrained - No Joy
OpenCL set on NEVER - No Joy
This is exacerbated by the fact that I cannot pan to see the missing parts of the pic

I pulled my hair out for hours yesterday trying to get my viewer to show the entire image without any luck. I tried resetting everything possible, changed workspaces, even changed monitor resolution and nothing worked. My crop reset wouldn't work correctly either.

LOTS of bugs in this release and can't wait for everything to be fixed. Loving the new tools but it is useless to me until the viewer issue is fixed.

And after they fix it they need to update the demo time. 💡

I like what I see so far but I need to see it all. 😄

    Same here, win7 64b, 4GB ram.
I think the problem is related to font size in Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Display: if I set "Smaller - 100%" all works fine, but CO is the only software that didn't work with other setting.

I'm unable also to reset the crop tool.

Same problem for me. It clearly has nothing to do with cropping. I think what's happening, is that the Viewer thinks the screen is larger than it actually is.

or.... I don't konw if anyone noticed this - but there is a gap to the left of the viewer that is wasted space. It could be that the viewer is somehow shifted to the right. that doesn't explain why the bottom is missing too...

(I am seeing both the bottom and the rightmost part of each picture cut off)

Also - anyone try full-screen? I thought that'd solve the problem, but when I press F11, the screen goes blank, and then comes back to the regular screen.

And one more thing- it can't be related to a custom layout (which I do not use) - it still doesn't work in the new black-and-white mode either.

    ☹️

I will try the font size setting in Windows 7. In fact, I think I have mine set to a larger font... so you may be on to something there.

    That did the trick!!!

OK, so the rest of you with this issue - make sure your Windows font sizes are set for the default (which is labeled "Smallest").

Annoying bug but at least we can work around it. I don't like my fonts this small. On my 1920x1080 laptop, I have to really squint to read things...

    Thanks

Unfortunately, changing the font size in XP does not cure the problem, which is a pity as this full screen option was one of the drivers towards upgrading from 5 to Express 6.

In Win 7, changing the font size worked for me too but this is entirely too small! UGHHHH!

There is no way I can keep my fonts at small -- please, remedy this bug in your next fix.

Reducing the font size to defaults work for me as well. However, I must agree that this is too small for me to keep this way and hope they address this problem quickly...

Same problem on XP. Changing the windoz font doesn't fix this bug.
Not sure this is worth the upgrade price now!

Vista users can also solve the problem by changing the font size to default 96DPI. Although then the fonts are way too small indeed.

Got this note from my PhaseOne ticket on this subject...

    Hi John,

I also saw this over the weekend and have forwarded it to development. We will escalte this to priority fix.

Whoops sorry that I just posted a similar report of the 2/3rds view issue.
Serious bug that should not have happened. Glad I did not spend the 99$...yet!!!

On my machine it's very subtle, I could not see any difference then I noticed that the Windows related bar at the top and bottom of the display had disappeared 😕

Please help ASAP. Looking forward for the “MAJOR†bug to be fixed. 🤬 ☹️

I also tried everything I could possibly think of. The “Zoom to Fit†simply does not work. The image is too big for the screen on my Laptop HP Probook 4515s res at 1366 x 768 and about 25% is missing at the base.

Opp is Win 7 64 bit ultimate.

I have tried different workspaces (Capture 5) is ok, however then I can’t set thumbnails to the right and the main image is very small. It works fine on my big screen with a different computer all together.

As a medical photographer I do all my medical work on location on the laptop and it is crucial that I can see the whole image before I crop it.

On my main PC it helped to change the font size, but indeed, these letters are far too small.
Strangely enough, my laptop does not have any problem at all.
