Please add the Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 di iii rxd for Sony E mount. Why I want it?

Simple. Compared to other Winde Angles it is by far the best, has the best sharpness and the budget-wise is very attractive. I have a Carl Zeizz 16-35 (it's in the system) but I've been shooting with the Tamron and the quality is superb.

I don't want to handle over to LR first edits so I can have lens correction applied.

Hi, if a user has a nikon series z camera, he finds only one supported lens ..

Who like me pays a specific nikon subscription is not happy and maybe won't renew it anymore ..

Z series cameras are professional products and it is not right that they are ignored in Capture One Nikon Edition.

I would like the following profiles:

    - NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f / 2.8 S,

    - NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f / 2.8 VR S

    - NIKKOR Z 20mm f / 1.8 S

    - NIKKOR Z 35mm f / 1.8 S

    - NIKKOR Z 85mm f / 1.8 S

    - NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f / 2.8 S

    Thank you

    Lorenzo,

Do the images you shoot with these lenses present with "Manufacturer Profile" in Capture One? Or just "Generic".

If "Manufacturer", have you also made contact with Nikon to ask them why their lense profiles are so poor you find them insufficient for your needs? In what ways should they be improved?

Please add support for the Sigma 14-24 F2.8 for Sony FE lens. Please advise when we can expect to see a lens profile within Capture One. Thank you.

    Greetings & Salutations:

I am happy I finally got lens support for the Canon EOS RF 15-35 L IS 2.8.  I am not sure the next one up in the RF series C1 is working on, but, for me and not offend anyone here, can the RF 70-200 L IS 2.8 be next if possible?  I still would need the RF 24-70, RF 800, and the RF 100-500.

Your Loyal Capture One Pro user,

    Herb

You need a profile of Sony E-mount's Sigma crop 30mm (16mm, not even 50mm).
I've been using Capture One 12 from the very beginning, but as a cropped body user, there is no third-party lens profile.
Even though it became Capture One 21, there is still no Sigma 30mm profile.
There are more users of a cropped body than a full frame.
It would be nice if you think about this.

Could you please add support for Fujifilm GF 50mm f/3.5?

This lens was released in July of 2019 and I always wondered why its profiles has never been added to CaptureOne.

    Thank you very much!

I'm using a Sony a7 with the Laowa 12mm ZeroD in combination with the Magic shift converter for professional architecture photography and would very much appreciate profiles for that combination. I know it's not that usual, but it's one of the best shift options for the Sony lineup...

A year later and Capture One's biggest weakness is still lens profile support for optical corrections.

At this point the company should dedicate a person to full time lens profile development to get this application competitive with Adobe Lightroom.  For a 400 dollar professional photography editing software, your company doesn't seem to take common features such as this too seriously.

But at the very least you could find a way to import adobe lens profiles over.  Or give us a method to create our own profiles.

I am of the very same opinion as DD. I am a Pentax user and none of my most-used lenses are supported. They are the most widely-used pro grade lenses in this mount, so what's up? Four hundred $$ for a seriously crippled and under-developed piece of self-proclaiming "professional" software is a lot of money. While C1 is head and shoulders over the competition in some aspects, the lack of lens profiles render this software seriously lacking. This is 2021, please assign some resources to lens profile creation.

I agree with DD and Pierre and I may have even posted it before. The company needs to assign a resource to this task and keep the software up to date with lens releases. It is supposed to be a professional level piece of software.

Hello guys, I see A LOT of queries, mine included, but I think I have a good news.
Just buy DXO PureRaw. All lenses corrections applied in one click and you also get the excellent deep prime. The DNG created arrived in C1 and you get your C1 development as usual.
Just saying this because it could take decades to see all lenses requested here to arrive in C1.
DXO PR is free for 30 days. On my side, I don’t wait anymore for all the RF lenses. The software detect your lense automatically and download what is needed to correct the picture.

HEllo Patrick,Yes indeed - you'll find a thread on pureRaw here:                    DxO PureRAW and CaptureOne

I like it very much as well, BUT (there's always a "but") the DNG file is +/- 3x the size of the RAW.
Lots of disk space required thus :-)

    Otherwise, a true gem.

Yeah, but it is very temporary on my side, can be deleted once exported 😉

DXO PureRaw is not a viable workaround.  For one, it nukes RAW images by oversharpening.  Two, it's another product to have to use, in a large batch image load it's going to be a hassle.  Three, it makes images that have a huge file size, tripling the foot print of storage space required.

It's just a no go.  Besides, Capture One shouldn't be leaning on a competing company's products for their own product.  CO just needs to do better on supporting many more lenses in the future.

Has anyone buying an expensive new lens, designed in the recent digital era and having been delivered with correction data embedded in the firmware for camera and RAW converter use, asked the manufacturers why their lens is so poor in the first place and how they have managed to fail to "correct" it so comprehensively for so long?

And then maybe ask themselves why they bought the lens?

I haven't.  And it's neither here nor there in the confines of this thread's topic of CO supporting more lens corrections.

    Hello.

    IRIX 15mm f2.4

    This is the lens: https://irixlens.com/photo-lenses/15mm/
The correction profile is available from the manufacturer (for Lightroom) https://irixlens.com/support/ - scroll down to Lens Profile

Regarding this lens, I contacted support and I was then pointed to this forum thread. It's quite a popular lens so I think many people would benefit from this profile.

However it would be great if we would be able to just import a lens profile - be it in a Lightroom format or a CaptureOne format.

    Thanks

    Generic Fisheye to rectilinear conversion

Capture One already has a generic barrel and pincushion correction, adding in a similar generic fisheye conversion to rectilinear would be extremely helpful and eliminate the need to use an external editor.
