More a month ago I asked for the Canon RF lens profiles listed below (and I repeat this request today) - but nothing happened.

Please give us quickly the missing lens profiles for Canon RF lenses:

RF 15-35 mm L IS USM
    RF 24-70mm L IS USM
    RF 70-200mm L IS USM
    RF 85mm L USM
    RF 85mm L USM DS

As you know, these lens profiles have been supported by Photoshop and Lightroom for months!

    Hi,

some days ago I asked again for support for the Canon RF lenses listed below. But dear CO-people, today's update again does not contain any of these profiles! How do you think professional photographers work? Are you kidding us?

RF 15-35 mm L IS USM
    RF 24-70mm L IS USM
    RF 70-200mm L IS USM

    RF 85mm L USM DS

    From another post:

    Hi team,

it would be desirable to have the following lens profiles available in Capture One Pro:

    • Viltrox 23mm F1.4
    • Viltrox 33mm F1.4
    • Viltrox 56mm F1.4

The Viltrox lenses are becoming more and more popular for Fujifilm X-Mount, Sony E-Mount and Canon M-Mount.
Viltrox provides lens correction profiles for Lightroom and Photoshop, but they cannot be used in Capture One. http://www.viltrox.com/en/index.php?m=index&a=content&cid=147

    Thank you in advance

Please add support for the following Canon Lenses into Capture One 20:

    1.) RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM (released Jan. 2020)

    2.) RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM (released Oct. 2019)

As a new user to Capture One, less than 2 weeks, I am highly disappointed in an application that is supposedly an industry leader.

I feel like I just wasted a lot of money in purchasing a life-time perpetual license.

    Hello,

Could you please create lens correction profiles for Samyang/Rokinon lenses? Especially the 12mm F2 (for Fujifilm)? The Samyang lenses are extremely popular third party lenses, especially amongst Fujifilm users, and the 12mm F2 is widely used and well regarded. It would be wonderful to see correction profiles for these great lenses in Capture One.

    Many thanks!

    Please provide profiles for:

    Canon EF 70-200 f4 II

    Canon RF 70-200 f2.8

And all the other RF lenses

The extremely slow release of lens profiles is my only gripe with Capture One but it is a huge issue for me. I've almost considered going back to Lightroom for this reason but I'd much rather not! The only other thing would be the superior chromatic aberration correction in lightroom. Other than that CO is by far the better software.

    Thanks

    Tom

A lens profile request from here - https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360012970657-Fujifilm-XF-100-400mm-f4-5-5-6-R-LM-OIS-WR-Lens?page=1#community_comment_360003224618

Hi Capture One,  would it be possible to profile the Fujifilm XF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens and in include it as a lens profile at some point in the near future.

    Hello,

Please add a lens correction profile for the FUJINON XF16mmF2.8 R WR. This seems like a major omission from the Fuji lineup.

Also a reminder that profiles for Samyang/Rokinon lenses would be great. Especially the 12mm F2 (for Fujifilm). The Samyang lenses are extremely popular third party lenses, especially amongst Fujifilm users, and the 12mm F2 is widely used and well regarded. Why you guys are not able to install all major prime lenses for all cameras by ur self? Doesn't matter what. Adobe can do it. Why CP1 don’t ??? What’s the problem with that.

There is still no profile for the Canon 2x converter with the major EF lenses. I’m waiting since 2016 for a profile.

An same now withe the RF lenses. Adobe has it, even Luminar has it. Why CP1 still don’t have them.

I really love working with CP1 but if you guys not able to crate new lens profiles for major prime lenses after they coming out you will never get closer to Adobe. For most user the accurate lens profiles are important to work with.

So please at the major prime lenses as soon as possible.

And if you ask for my personal lenses

    All Canan RF Prime lenses
    24-70 2.8 15-35 2.8 70-200 2.8 etc.
incl Tele Converter 1.4 and 2.0

    Thanks Hans

Would love to see Viltrox profiles, in my case for the Viltrox 23mm 1.4 for Fuji X-mount. It has very heavy vignetting wide open and it would be great if Capture One could do a better job at compensating for that than the manufacturer’s profile that’s embedded in the firmware.

Where is support for the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM?
It’s a great in-between lens of quality and portability, but not having support in CO, that long after release is very strange.

    HI

I would love to see a profile for the 300mm 2,8 AFSVRII including the TC14 II/III and TC20 III. This lense is a classic an Nikon does not seem to replace it so soon.

In addition I am looking forward for lense profiles for these Sigma Art lenses for Nikon:

Most important: 14mm 1,8 ART. A corrections of the distortion and CR and corner sharpness

Although these lenses are superb, it woudl increase user friendliness to also have Nikon profiles for these ART, since you have them for Canon:50mm 1,4
    85mm 1,4
    105mm 1,4
    135mm 1,4

A suggestion on the lens correction profiles from here - https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360012967997-Add-the-ability-to-set-the-manufacturer-profile-as-the-default-lens-correction-profile

It would be awesome to be able to set a manufacturer profile as the preferred or default lens correction profile when importing images.

In my case, many wide angle zoom lenses tend to become very cropped and distorted by default with the built in Capture One lens correction profiles. Switching to the manufacturer profile generally fixes this problem, but requires that it be done with each import or with each individual image. A setting to make the manufacturer profile the default lens correction profile would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

A year later and Capture One's biggest weakness is still lens profile support for optical corrections.

At this point the company should dedicate a person to full time lens profile development to get this application competitive with Adobe Lightroom.  For a 400 dollar professional photography editing software, your company doesn't seem to take common features such as this too seriously.

But at the very least you could find a way to import adobe lens profiles over.  Or give us a method to create our own profiles.

I am of the very same opinion as DD. I am a Pentax user and none of my most-used lenses are supported. They are the most widely-used pro grade lenses in this mount, so what's up? Four hundred $$ for a seriously crippled and under-developed piece of self-proclaiming "professional" software is a lot of money. While C1 is head and shoulders over the competition in some aspects, the lack of lens profiles render this software seriously lacking. This is 2021, please assign some resources to lens profile creation.
